Cherry Benches
These benches are 4 1/2 feet long and were made to go with a table Cherry table the clients already had. The tops are almost 2 inches thick and the legs taper from 4 inches down to 2 inches. Leg to top joint is made with through wedged dovetails. The finish is a simple hand rubbed polyurethane to hold up to years of use. Sorry about the strange coloring in the upper right picture, photographer (my) error.

White Ash with Black Walnut wedges in the through mortise and tenon joints.

Cubby Bench
This bench was for a mud room. The client found baskets that she used in the cubbys for hats, gloves, scarves, etc. Painted with a black ceramic paint.
