This coffee table, the end tables and the book shelves were all made to work as a set. Costruction elements are carried through each piece. The wood used are White Ash and Black Walnut combining those contrasting woods and evening out that contrast with a stain really give the pieces a warm, rich look. I know what you're thinking, but they really do match, the pictures don't show it because I'm not a good photographer.
Traditional set
I made the bed for these clients last year and made the nightstands this year. The furniture style is based on a line of Thomasville furniture. They wanted a few modification to better go with their style and needs. The set is made with Hard Maple and finished with an oil based gel stain.
Country dining set
This set was made with White Ash and finished with a water-based white stain. The table opens by pulling on just one side, only the top separates, to accept the 11" leaf. They wanted chairs with a lyre back style. The top of the table legs have hand-carved daisy medalions inlayed.
